ACC Reverse Job Fair

We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of our recent Reverse Job Fair, as well as to all who attended and took the time to engage with our students. The event was exceptionally well attended, and the level of energy and interaction throughout the day was truly impressive.

A Reverse Job Fair offers a unique and impactful approach to career exploration. Unlike a traditional job fair where employers host informational tables, this format places students at the center of the experience. Our students hosted their own tables, showcasing their skills, portfolios, and career interests while employers had the opportunity to walk the room and connect with them directly. This model provides a meaningful way to experience the talent, professionalism, and preparation our students bring as they prepare to enter the workforce.

We would also like to recognize the outstanding professionalism demonstrated by our students. They arrived well-prepared and impressively dressed, presenting themselves with confidence and poise. Their appearance and conduct reflected not only their individual commitment, but also the high standards we strive to uphold at Auburn Career Center.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce, Geauga Growth Partnership, Inc., and OhioMeansJobs Lake County for their continued partnership and support. We are also grateful to Ethan Wittkorn, Statewide Program and Regional Partnerships Manager at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor Jim Tressel, for visiting Auburn Career Center and for his time spent engaging with our students and staff.

A very special thank you goes to Andrea McKinstry, Business Partnerships Coordinator, and Sandy Schultz for their exceptional dedication and hard work behind the scenes. Their leadership and attention to detail were instrumental in making this event a success.

Events such as this highlight the outstanding work taking place at Auburn Career Center and reaffirm our commitment to preparing students for successful and meaningful careers.
